Dodecanethiol coated gold nanoparticles manufactured by Particle Works are engineered for high performance in organic solvents and can be used in applications such as catalysis, photothermal heating and printed electronics.
The particles are comprise of a highly monodisperse gold core (CV values<10%) and minimal dodecanethiol coating. This enables the particles to display consistently high performance in target applications and ensures long-term stability in solvents, such as hexane, toluene and dichloromethane.
